FAQS

WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF YOUR POTTERY MAKING?

I use high fire stoneware clay purchased locally. All my products are hand thrown on potter's wheel. After drying and trimming to proper form and shape as desired, I bisque fire them to around ~1,728 F (cone 08). After bisque firing and cooling, which usually takes around 12 hours each, I glaze my products. I then fire them once more at ~2,350 F (cone 10). This entire second process of firing and cooling takes another 36 hours.

All my products are gas-fired to a reduction atmosphere unless otherwise specified (electric-fired).

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MICROWAVE AND DISHWASHER SAFE?

Yes. All my products are microwave and dishwasher safe. The clay and the glazes I use are certified food and microwave safe. However, since these are hand made products, delicate care and caution is advised when washing, cleaning, or stocking.

Well cared for handmade pottery can last a lifetime!

ARE ALL THE PRODUCTS HANDMADE SOLELY BY YOU OR DO YOU HAVE APPRENTICES/ASSISTANTS/THROWERS WORKING FOR YOU?

All my potteries are solely handmade by me from the beginning stage of wedging to trimming, glazing and firing. I do have help in sales and marketing.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

All the sales are final and non-refundable. I take utmost care and caution in packaging and shipping. However, if on rare instances the products are broken in shipping, please let me know and I can replace them.
